Watts was born 28 September 1968. When her family moved to Australia, Watts
made her film film debut there with For Love Alone (1986). She later appeared
on three TV series: Hey Dad.. (1990), Brides of Christ(91) as well as Home and
Away (91) as well as Flirting (1991). Watts was an unsuccessful actor when she
first came to the United States. She acted in small-scale movies and eventually
was a professional actress. Watts became famous internationally for this role.
Watts played the part of the journalist who is depressed in The Ring, a horror
film remake. Her performance as grieving mother in Alejandro's 21 Grams (2003)
was nominated for an Academy Award. She continued to climb the ranks of fame
with her the roles in I Heart Huckabees (2004) and King Kong (2005) as in
Eastern Promises (2007) and The International (2009). For her performance as
Maria Bennett in the disaster film The Impossible (2012), Watts got another
Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. In the decade of 2010, she starred
in such films such as Birdman (2014) St. Vincent (2014), While We're Young
(2015), The Glass Castle (2017), and Luce (2019). Watts was also a prominent
character in blockbuster films, starring in Divergent (2015)-2016.
