Mila Kunis
American
actress born on August 14th 1984. When she was 14 years old she was cast as
Jackie Burkhart in the Fox television show That's 70s Show (1998-1906). From
1999 on, Kunis has voiced Meg Griffin on the Fox animated show Family Guy.
Kunis's first film appearance came in 2008, playing Rachel in the romantic
comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. She gained further critical acclaim and
recognition for her performance in the psychological thriller Black Swan
(2010), where she won the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor or
Actress, as well as nominations for the SAG Award and the Golden Globe Award
for Best Supporting Actress. Her other notable films include Max Payne (2008)
and The Book of Eli (2011) and the romantic comedy Friends with Benefits
(2010), the fantasy movie Oz the Great and Powerful (2013) where she appears as
the Wicked Witch of the West. Ted (2012) and Bad Moms (2016) are two of her
most-loved films. Milena Markovna Kunis was the child of an Ukrainian Jewish family.
She was born on August 14, 1983 in Chernivtsi (now Ukraine) to her Ukrainian
Jewish mother and father. Mark Kunis, her mechanical engineer father, works as
a taxi driver. Kunis has an elder brother, Michael. Her grandparents were
survivors of the Holocaust. Russian is her mother tongue.
