Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (NOH-vitch; Polish: born on November 8 in 1985) is a Canadian actress from Canada. She is most well-known for her roles on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress, was born Maya Hartwell. Recently, she appeared as Sandy on the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz, who is Polish-American and attended the 9th grade in Poland. She lived with her aunt in Poland and went to Jelenia Gola School. She continued her studies at Vancouver Film School. The brother of her introduced her to Pulp Fiction at the age 10 and she was immediately interested in acting. Her acting career began in 2002 with brief appearances on the TV series Jeremiah and John Doe.From 2007 until 2009, she played the role as Andy Jensen on Kyle XY. In 2008, she appeared in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand as a regular character in the drama television series Caprica along with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. Hellcats was her following film. In 2012, she was cast in the role of Emily in Jane Espenson's second series of her romantic comedy web series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz also played the part as Samantha in The Green Inferno, an Eli Roth horror film. The Green Inferno, although it was produced in 2012, it was released internationally in 2015.
