Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter was born July 23 in 1970. Cordelia Chase played the character as Cordelia in Buffy the Vampire's supernatural drama (1997-1999) and the spin-off show Angel (1999-04). She was also a star in Charmed (2004) as well as Kendall Casablanca's (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012) Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada), the daughter of Christine Carpenter who is the bird sanctuary's worker, and Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. She is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High school located in Las Vegas. She was involved in a dance and dance group that was a part of the Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter moved with her family to Rosario Beach in Baja California, Mexico, at age 15. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter embarked on a journey to Europe after her graduation. Carpenter returned to San Diego in 1991 and worked as an aerobics teacher and videostore clerk as well as a property manager. In 1991, she was employed as cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team. She relocated to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. was a tyrant who attacked her and two male acquaintances as they were swimming in San Diego. He was a former San Diego cop and serial rapist who tried to subdue them by threatening them with a firearm. Her friends as well as Hubbard were shot at during the fight. Hubbard fled the scene but both of her companions survived. Hubbard was convicted and sentenced to 56 year imprisonment for a series rapes, robberies. Carpenter took Hubbard's flashlight, which was a police-issue flashlight, away from the shore. The flashlight proved to be a vital piece of evidence against Hubbard.
